Imitation of the Henry rifle with octagonal barrel, made of metal and wood, featuring a simulated loading and firing mechanism.
The Henry rifle marked a true revolution in weaponry of its time: unlike the single-shot muskets used during the Civil War, this lever-action rifle with a tubular magazine could fire up to 16 rimfire .44 cartridges consecutively before needing to reload.
Although it was not officially adopted by the Union Army, many soldiers acquired it on their own due to its rapid rate of fire and ease of use on the battlefield.
In popular culture, the Henry rifle has appeared in several western films, such as Major Dundee (1965), The Mercenary (1968), and Silverado (1985), highlighting its role in the westward expansion and the fight for survival in lawless territories.
Its legacy lives on in the video games Red Dead Redemption (2010) and Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018), where players can relive the western experience with great realism.
A western classic that no collection should be without!

This is a good reproduction. though it would be better if the magazine tube can open and you can load dummy rounds. Denix made a volcanic pistol with the same system, why not do it on this one as well. I painted a wooden dowel black and put it in the lower magazine tube to extend the magazine follower spring, so it can appear loaded.
I am a 14 year old swedish reenactor who loves colecting history. Me, my dad and brother colects denix weapons and i would love to give my dad the Henry rifke he want.
Love yore products Denix!
As a former US Civil War reenactor, & someone who sold Denix’s fine replicas in the Overland Gun Shop at Knott’s Berry Farm, I have long wanted a Henry rifle!
Now, 30 years later, I am no longer able to perform in Historical re-enactments, due to physical injuries/conditions. Yet, still... I do have my “Western Wall”, covered with memories of good friends & good times, past. The Henry rifle would be a welcome & perfect addition to my display!
